1.Woollen clothes protect us from cold in
winter as wool traps air. Since air is poor
conductor of heat, it doesn’t allow our body
heat to escape, thus keeps our body warm.

silk moth lays eggs which at suitable
temperature hatch to produce larvae called

liquid.This liquid hardens on coming in contact
with air and changes into fine threads. The
caterpillar covers itself completely with these
fine fibres. This covering is called cocoon.The
silkworm develop into a silk moth inside the
