Hello friends Today I am going to study about soil. so many students are confused in this chapter so let's study about it.

soil (How is soil is important)

soil is another important abiotic factor of  environment.
Most of the plant cannot live without soil

soil provides water and minerals to the plant which are important for their growth. 

it also provides a home's to organisms that live in soil.

soil is the mixture of maney things. in soil we find rock particles, microorganisms, and minerals, and so many other. 

The top soil is very dark in colour.The top soil has lot of humus and minerals.

soil (what is soil pollution)
you know that we are polluting soil by using, making polithyne bags amd other plastic, wastes products. 

soil pollution is dengerous thing because soil pollution makes soil loose and also make erosion and also kills microorganisms which is good for soil.

soil profile( what is soil profile) 
if you take a vertical section of the soil that is known as soil profile.


if you take a look in soil profile you observe that the layers of soil Is different from one another but not in colour but in also in 

If you touch them you feel that the texture of also feels different.


The first layer of the soil profile is humus and top soil is known as A Horisom 

A Horisom have lots of living creatures like microorganisms dead and decaying matters and it is very soft and porous...

The sub soil is known as B Horizons it has lots of minerals but less in humus and it is harder.

The weather is known as C horizon in it we will find lots of smaller fragments of rocks.

The last layer is known as Bed rock and it is known D horizon and it is not broken and it us too much hard.


Formation of soil
soil is formed by natur by broken of rocks into smaller particles by the action of winds water climate.


Types of soil.(what are the type of soil)
There are many types of soil are their so let's study them.


sandy soil.(what is sandy soil)
if you travel in Rajasthan you mostly have seen sandy soil 

The sandy soil has large particles so in between their are so many gaps are their and they do not absorb to much water.

it is suitable for growing of carrots,Radish, potato

clayey soil (what is clayey soil)
in clayey soil we will find fine small gaps between them and they absorb lots of water.

it is suitable for growing if wheat, gram, paddy

Loamy soil (what is loamy soil)
Loamy soil is a mixture of both soil clayey soil and sandy soil is basically sandy+silt+clayey but in equal proportion.
it is suitable for growing if wheat, Gram, lentils,cotton
